点评：When we booked our trip, we thought February would be a wonderful month to explore Point Reyes. However, Mother Nature sent us a curveball in the form of significant rainfall and extreme wind. At first, we were bummed out, but as luck would have it this was a blessing. We had the entire place to OURSELVES!
We spent three days in the park (two with a guide and one without). Point Reyes Safaris helped us achieve our photography goals. With Daniel at the wheel, we could focus (no pun intended) on taking pictures instead of navigating the park. It was very windy and rainy and most of our time was spent taking pictures from his amazing SUV with heated seats! Daniel knew how to position the vehicle so we'd get the best results.
His vast knowledge of animal behavior is priceless! When we encountered the bobcats, coyotes, etc., he knew what to expect from them. Daniel also coached us to be creative with our shots. Given the park's vast size (over 70,000 acres) and only having 3 days, having a guide was a necessity! Not only did Daniel know how the animals would react to our presence, but he also knew the best spots to see them. In addition to our time in the field, Daniel treated us to yummy lunches and interesting conversations. Thinking about using Point Reyes Safaris? Just do it!
