Solo traveler Highlights Tour. Incredible!!

点评：Traveling as a solo woman, I did quite a bit of research on which company to trust to guide me on my TMB journey. I can confidently say I made the right choice by investing in the Cloud 9 Highlights Tour.
From the very beginning, Emma was spot-on with every detail of the trip. Her responses to my emails were always quick, helpful, and accurate. I felt well prepared before I even arrived, which helped calm any uncertainty I had about taking on this adventure solo.
The accommodations were charming village hotels and refuges that were VERY much appreciated after a full day of hiking. The staff were always welcoming, and the breakfasts were a great way to fuel up for another day on the trail.
The luggage transfers were incredibly well organized and possibly one of my favorite luxuries of the trip. After hours of hiking uphill, knowing my luggage would be waiting for me at the next hotel made every climb feel just a little bit easier. Trust me, my legs were very grateful I wasn’t carrying anything extra.
I’m not a foodie, but the meals at the restaurants and refuges were consistently great. One important piece of TMB advice…never skip dessert!! You climbed the mountain. You earned the dessert! Eat it!! Sometimes even two…shhhh our secret.
Our guide, Cam, was the guiding hand who kept 10 strangers with different hiking abilities motivated, interested, and moving together… no small task. His knowledge of the terrain, plants, wildlife, and history of the Alps added so much to the experience. It became much more than simply hiking from one destination to the next. We were learning about and appreciating everything around us along the way. Enjoyed having a tour guide vs doing it self guided, but you do you.
And then there were the people I hiked alongside. The camaraderie of our group truly made this trip special. Yes, the Alps are spectacular, but sharing the miles, the views, the laughs, the sore legs, and the occasional, “Are we seriously going all the way up there?” made them even more memorable.
I came for the TMB, but I left with so much more — new knowledge, new friendships, lots of incredible memories, and a very strong appreciation for luggage transfers!!
Hiking, learning, laughing, and meeting fellow travelers made this one of my favorite adventures yet. An incredible experience from beginning to end. Just book it already!!!

我算不上美食爱好者，但沿途餐馆和避难所提供的餐食都相当不错。有一条关于环勃朗峰徒步的重要建议……千万别跳过甜点！！你都爬上山了，完全配得上这份甜点啊！快吃下去吧！！有时候甚至可以吃两份……嘘，这是我们的小秘密。
我们的向导卡姆真是堪称典范——他成功激励着10个徒步能力各不相同的陌生人，让大家都保持兴趣并步调一致地前行……这绝非易事。他对当地地形、植物以及各种知识都了如指掌。阿尔卑斯山的野生动植物以及其悠久的历史为这次旅行增添了无数乐趣。这已不再仅仅是从一个景点徒步走到另一个景点的过程了——沿途我们不断了解并欣赏着周围的一切。能有导游带领固然不错，但自行探索也完全可以，随你喜好吧。
还有那些与我一同徒步的伙伴们。我们团队间的深厚情谊让这次旅行变得格外特别。没错，阿尔卑斯山确实美得令人窒息，但能够一起走过漫长的路程、共享绝美的风景、一起欢笑、一起忍受双腿酸痛，才是最珍贵的体验。时不时出现的“我们真的要爬到那么高吗？”这样的提问更是让这段经历令人难忘。
