点评：My husband and I visited the Acropolis Museum as part of a guided tour, and even though museums aren’t usually our thing, this one completely won us over. It’s modern, beautifully laid out, and incredibly immersive. There’s so much history packed into the space that it’s almost shocking to take in just how old and significant these pieces are.
Walking through the galleries really brought the story of Athens and the Acropolis to life. The Caryatids were especially moving — standing proudly together with one heartbreaking gap where the missing sister sits in the British Museum. Seeing the recreated setup and sculptures alongside the originals made it even clearer how much of this history is scattered around the world. It gave us a real appreciation for the ongoing conversation about where these pieces belong, though that’s a whole topic on its own.
If you’ve already visited the Acropolis, this museum ties everything together beautifully. It’s absolutely worth a visit, even for people who don’t usually gravitate toward museums.
