Trip of a Lifetime with Serengeti Sons Safaris

点评：We had planned for our trip to Africa for a year. First stop was Rwanda to see the Mountain Gorillas and then to Tanzania for a visit to Serval Wildlife Lodge, safaris in Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti, and finally Zanzibar.
Every step of the planning process with Grace our Tour Coordinator for Serengeti Sons was fantastic. She is thorough, very knowledgeable, and quick to follow up on any questions or concerns we may have had and the accommodations she put together were out of this world. We could not have made this trip without her.
One first stop was Rwanda, where our driver, Fabrice, was fantastic. He truly made this portion of our trip enjoyable, relaxing and fun. He is very easy going, professional and definitely had our interests at heart to ensure we had a successful visit.
Next, we travelled to Tanzania, where we were met by Shabani, who was to be our driver and guide to all things in Tanzania during our 11-day tour. Shabani was amazing and so knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw. He is passionate about the animals and has an almost superhuman eye for finding and identifying animals and birds in the wild. Shabani was so good in fact that, we believe he can see better than any binocular. With his expertise and instincts, we were able to see the Big Five at least twice during our time with him, plus so much more. Shabani regularly went out of his way to help make our trip a success. In one instance Shabani eagerly helped us in Arusha; taking us to a number of shops to find a new travel adapter for our electronics and during our drive between National Parks, he managed to find us a particular painting of a Leopard in a Sausage tree that we had been talking about.
Then onto Zanzibar, where we stayed at the Blue Bay Beach Resort, located on the eastern side of the island. This resort was the perfect place to unwind after two weeks on the road. Here again, Grace did an outstanding job organizing a driver (Amour) and our guide (Nasir) for us during our stay. She provided them with explicit instructions regarding our needs upon arrival and checked in to make sure all was going as planned. We cannot say enough about Amour and Nasir, they were both so friendly, accommodating and attentive to our needs.
Again, none of this would have been possible without the help, patience, and guidance of Grace. She regularly checked in with us during our tour ensuring we were looked after and even took the time to drop by our hotel in Arusha on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you all so much for your time and energy. We were definitely well looked after. Each one of you made our trip so memorable.
