点评：While the evening was fun for our family of five, Steve was quite disorganized. He was missing two paddles and our tour had to wait 50 minutes for someone to deliver them. (We were going to cancel if an hour had gone by and asked for a refund). While we were waiting, he was chatting about stuff but still hadn't fully loaded up the kayaks with supplies so we got off to an even later start. As a result of the late start (7:45pm vs 6:30pm start time), we didn't get to kayak into the small cove but heard the story of it while paddling. Kayaking to the island was fun and Steve set up the campfire and small table fine, but there were only two chairs and a blanket to sit on. Steve forgot the chocolate for the smores so another miss on his behalf. When we said we'd be ready to leave in 20 minutes, Steve spent the next half hour figuring out how to put these new lights on each kayak (he had just purchased them and they needed to be peeled and velcro'ed to the kayaks) while we cleaned up the site and put the food and chairs away. If we hadn't helped with the gear, it would have been even later. The evening could have been organized a lot better and Steve should have had everything ready to go when we were ready. Heading back to the dock from the island was a little scary since we are beginner kayakers and it was quite dark. Steve did not paddle in the rear to make sure everyone was together and one kayak didn't have a light that worked. It made me nervous. He said if a boat was coming we should wave our hands. Our family did have a good time and a memorable evening, and Steve is a nice guy, but it wasn't quite the experience Steve told us it would be and quite expensive compared to similar experiences with other outfitters. We got back to the launch at 10:35pm.
