点评：We saved visiting this wondrous crafts + gifts "shed" until.towards the end of our 8-day stay in Cape Town, to have something "new" to visit at the V&A Waterfront area before leaving.
Better than any similar place we've been to before, anywhere. A trove of crafters, artists, jewellry, fashion, small companies of all things art, a sprinkling of quality souvenirs, a couple of indie cafes and so much more.
Every stallholder was keen to really help us make purchases, tell the products' stories, and their own stories too. With no pressure to buy.
Boy. We loved it here. My purchases included a gorgeous, vibrant leather handbag for my wife, homewares for my son - and bonkers-coloured shirt and beach shorts for me. Coming from the UK, with a relatively strong pond, there was good-value to be had at every turn.
Everything's on one level, no steps, well-lit, spacious. So, easy access for all.
There's even a guitar shop selling oil can-bodied guitars yey. And they sounded great!
Loved it here. A huge "well-done" to the friendly, talented stall-holders, and whoever is running this superb attraction/shopping area in this stunning city.
