One excellent stall in an otherwise underwhelming visit

点评：We visited on our way home from Builth Wells. We've been here several times over the years, but unfortunately the overall experience hasn’t really improved.
The counter staff at the antique centre tend to avoid eye contact and don’t acknowledge customers as they arrive, and the welcome in the café was even less friendly. We ordered two sandwiches and teas, but the staff seemed irritated by even this simple order. The tea was made by dipping the teabag briefly before removing it, which didn’t inspire confidence. Prices were reasonable, but a smile or a bit of warmth would have made a big difference.
The quality of goods and customer service overall feels below average. However, I’ve given 3 stars purely because of the gentleman who runs the Art Deco pitch upstairs — he greeted me warmly, and his stock is excellent. If I were reviewing his section alone, it would be a definite 5 stars.
