Darnley Gin Tour
Kingsbarns Distillery and Visitor Centre的点评
点评：Having received a voucher for a Gin tour from last Christmas for this beautiful distillery, having never been or even knew this distillery was there, it stands in the most stunning surroundings. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff on arrival, who helped answer any question we had to rely to family who would come to pick us up after our tour.
We then met Dot our tour guide who gave us a fantastic insight into the Wemyss family and their journey through the years bringing us wonderful Gin and Whisky to please every palette, not only was Dot informative but such fun while we enjoyed each taster of gin with recommendations of the best mixer to complement each Gin, we so enjoyed ourselves, we finished off bright cheeked and slightly tipsy.
We were picked up after the tour by family with our dog, who joined us for lunch in the cafe, Willow was lapping up the attention with doggy biscuits and a big bowl of fresh water, we were told there is under floor heating, no wonder she was happy to lie on the floor. We all had lovely freshly made sandwiches, scones,cake and drinks, the staff couldn’t be nicer or do enough for us , making this a lovely day out,we can’t wait to return. Thank you all for such a lovely afternoon,see you all soon.
