点评:Jacquot (who also calls himself Giacomo and is one of the owners of zebubianco tours) told us that we could use the tap water of the hotels to brush our teeth (but not for drinking) and also that the food at the hotels and the restaurants where he took us for lunch was safe for us to eat and he invited us every time to drink the welcome drink that we were offered by the hotel upon our arrival. We didn't have any stomach/belly problems till we arrived in Ifaty. For drinking we bought sealed water bottles in the larger supermarkets. When we arrived at the Bella Donna Hotel in Ifaty he told us to get the welcome drink at the bar.It was a baobab drink that we had never tried before.I expected it to taste sour because they also offered us sugar to add to the drink but it tasted more like the tap water of the hotel.A few minutes after I drunk it, my stomach was hurting very badly. Some time later my travel mate had to go urgently to the toilet to s**.Then I also had to use the bathroom to s** liqu** and I had my stomach hurt badly again. Sometimes during the night I even couldn't get up from my bed and sit on the toilet before the s** started to come out of my bottom. We spent most of that night and the next night in the bathroom s** liqu**.Probably some s*** landed outside of the toilet because due to the problem with my hip (my disability is recognised by the state) I can't sit well on the toilet (I can’t sit well anywhere and actually need a special chair) but also because sometimes the s** came out very fast and liqu**.I had to wash my trousers and my underpants a few times. My travel mate also vom** a few times during the night and just after he had a very basic breakfast (he vom*** at the table and on the way to our room). We heard another person feeling sick as well.At one time during the night there was no water in the bathroom and my travel mate used our wet tissues to clean his hands. In the afternoon we had taken a shower and left the towels on the bathroom floor because it was slippery. In the morning when we ordered our prepaid breakfast at the reception/bar, we told them about our heath problems and that we wouldn't have anymore of the baobab drink because we thought that it was responsible for our health problems.According to our written program that morning we were supposed to go to the coral reef by piroga to swim. The day before the guide who knew about my health problems from the beginning (before we even booked the trip - but didn't he tell me that there could be a problem for me) told me that I wouldn't be able to swim because I wouldn't be able to get out into the water and into the piroga again. So I told him that that was not OK and that we wouldn't do the trip because of our health problems. He told us that the trip was not mandatory when I told him that we had paid for the trip by piroga that we could not do and I asked for the money back which he didn't agree to.Later he even told us that we could have s** into the ocean from the piroga which for me is disgusting and also embarrassing. When we came back to the hotel our guide got our key. Then he told us that we would have to pay the bath towel and the rug that got dirty with s** during the night. I made clear many times that I wouldn't pay for it because we felt sick after we had the welcome drinks they offered to us. I also told him that I didn't have enough money left (I didn’t put much money on my debit card because most of the meals and the activites we wanted to do were included in the program) and we didn't know if we would have to sleep in a hotel for a night the day we returned to our home county due to a general strike that involved also the means of transportation we needed to go home. I offered to contact our insurance to see if they would pay for the damage. J. said that he would maybe pay if it was little money because they do tours to the south and also some clients might want to use that hotel in the future.Later he also told me that he would pay but the entrance fee to the Rova in Tana (that was included in our booking) was not included anymore. I said that it was not OK because we wanted to see them and I had already paid for the visits. He said that we did damage to the property of the hotel and had to pay. When he came to pick us up the next morning, he came with the bill from the hotel of 84100 ariary which is a lot for those 2 things. He told me that the hotel had already informed the police and that they would stop us and take us to the police station if we didn't pay the bill right away and make copies of our documents (the hotel already had made a copy of my passport when we arrived) and our return ticket (we only had the booking codes of the tickets because we had booked the flights online). He also told me that we would loose the whole morning and wouldn't visit the arboretum (we had paid for that) but that we would be able to catch our flight in the late afternoon. He also told me that we would have to go to court in Tana (maybe on the day we had planned to do a sightseeing tour) before we fly back home and that that would ruin our vacation (which was already ruined for us anyway due to his behavior starting from the day we started the tour of the north). He also repeated what he had said the day before and I did the same. He made me understand that he didn't want to have any problems. During the time we talked my travel mate was using the toilet and I told J. repeatetly that I had to s** again but he kept talking to me. He told me also that the hotel still had the things full of s** and that they would show it to the police. Nobody gave us the possibility to wash the towels on our own because we had to leave. He didn't have time to help us in Tana because he had to go to Nosy Be to start a new tour when he had told us before that he would do the sightseeing in Tana with us.He also told me that we could have gone to the bar at night if we needed any more toilet paper. The problem was not the toilet paper (we had enough of that) but the fact that we both felt very sick and had problems to get to the toilet in time. My travel mate felt so sick he wouldn't even have been able to leave the room to go to the bar. I also wasn't able to go to the bar on my own. Besides the fact that I had to s** often I use a cane or a person I can hold onto to walk and I have a problem to do stairs or even steps without help or holding onto something. We didn't have any hot water when we wanted to take a shower the second evening at the hotel Bella Donna. I understood that he wanted us to pay so that he wouldn’t have any problems in the future. But that was his problem and it was not OK that he wanted us to do something that we had clearly said many times that we didn’t want to do. On our way to Tulear I asked our driver to stop at a petrol stat. because I had to go to toilet. At the end he paid but pretended to get the money back from us (even cancelling parts of the program we already had paid for). Our guide never offered to take us to a a doctor or a pharmacy to get some medicines against diarrhea even though he knew that I have to take medicines my doctor prescribed me because of my health problems. He took us to the airport about 5 hours before our scheduled flight. He told us that he knew somebody at the airport that would help us and he also talked to a person there. During the check-in nobody helped us. We had the same basgs and suitcases we had when we took the flight from Diego Suarez to Tana. At the check-in we were told in French (they didn't speak English) that we would have to pay extra for the small bag. Since our suitcases didn't weight much (but they were full) we put some things into one of the suitcases. They then forced one bag into the other and when we arrived in Tana I saw that the larger one of the bags was damaged and we couldn't use it anymore. They didn't care when I told them that there were prescription medicines in one of the bags (I have to take different medicines every day and we also had anti-malaria pills and antibiotics because I’m allergic against certain antibiotics). In Tana we stayed with a friend of mine. After I felt sick again at night (s**ing liqu** and even vomiting) she called her doctor and then took us to a pharmacy (it was a Sunday and it was not easy to find an open pharmacy) to get medicines that resolved my problems of s**ing liqu**. J. told my friend that our health problems might have been caused by the food we had in the restaurant where we stopped on our way from Isalo to Ifaty even though he had told us that the food there was safe for us to eat. He offered us lunch there because we got stopped by the police in Isalo. The driver's license of our driver didn't have an expire date and we had to go to the police station to fill in a report and pay a fine. We accepted the offer of a free meal even though we had something to eat for lunch. We didn’t drink the drink they offered us because it had a strange color. Later J. wrote to me that we felt sick because we bought food on our own that was not OK.We only ate the fruit we had bought with him.We took home all the other things (except for the water) we bought at the supermarket.
On the day of our arrival in Nosy Be the driver who didn't speak any Italian but only French took us to a supermarket and helped us buy everything we needed. J. on the other hand left us alone most of the time in the supermarkets even though sometimes we would have needed his help. I found out only at home that I bought a jelly that has an expired best before date because it is not clearly written on it (we only speak very basic French). On that occasion we were looking for J. to get help from him but he was somewhere outside of the supermarket probably minding his own business.
The person I had contact with using email (J.) had written that he would be always with us. It turned out not to be true because a lot of times he left us alone or with other guides or the driver that didn't always speak sufficient Italian or English because he either was busy with other things or he had to travel from Diego to Tana by bus to start the tour of the south with us or he had to travel back by car and bus from Tulear to Nosy Be to start a tour with another group even though he had told us that he would do sightseeing in Tana with us. Sometimes we had problems to communicate. The guide in Tana for example told us that we would have to walk if we wanted to see the rich residential areas of the city. We told him that we wanted to see them but he didn't take us there. I asked to pass a flower market again because I wanted to take more pictures but the driver drove on and I had to shout that I wanted to go back. He also told me that we would go around the lake in form of a heart again and I got ready to take pictures but then we drove in the opposite direction. He didn't understand the questions I asked in Italian. So our questions remained unanswered.
The car zbtours used for our transfer from our hotel to the harbour in Nosy Be didn’t have any safety belts. We complained about it to J. who told us that all the other cars would have safety belts. For us it was a safety issue. When we complained after our return by email, he answered that we should have said that we wanted to use another car.
When we arrived in Ankarana NP J. told us that he had to prepare lunch and he introduced us to our guides (father and son) that rode in our car with us up to where we started to walk. When we got out of the car the guides wanted to help us with our small backpacks. We told them that we would carry our own things. When we stopped to rest, I saw the older guide bite into a yellow fruit and asked him if he was eating an apple. Only after that I saw that he had taken my bag with the fruit that I left in the car to eat in the evening (passion fruit and ox heart) and that he had actually eaten my fruit. I told him that it was not OK and that the bag was supposed to remain in the car in the first place (and not be put on the floor like he did or carried around) because it might deteriorate (like it did and we had to throw away most of the fruit). Later I also informed J. about it. He told us that he had told the guide to take some of the fruit and water from the car to give to us if we needed it without making sure that they didn't touch our belongings. Nobody paid for our fruit that we didn't get to eat even though the other guide had promised us that he would tell J. to get new fruit for us because he couldn't find it in Diego. J. later said that we had refused to get other fruit (he only offered to get us more bananas and oranges that I shouldn't eat due to my health problems, the medicines I take and my allergies).
We visited the Red Tsingy the same day we visited Ankarana NP because J. had made a mistake in the program. He had actually put our flight to Tana a day later we had actually booked it even though I had emailed him the data of all our flights (national and international) before he even sent us the program. When we arrived at a slippery part of the path I told J. to turn around because I was afraid to slip. So he told me to get onto his back and he carried me. I was afraid he would slip with me. After that he carried me on his back when I was afraid to slip or the steps where to high for me.Sometimes he also gave me his hands to pull me up the steps. My problem was that he had to we* often (he did it also in the nature) and he didn’t disinfect is hands afterwards even though he touched a certain part of his body. For me it is disgusting but I couldn’t do anything about it.
Sometimes J. told us wrong distances that we still had to walk i.e. he said it was only a few more steps when it were some more (long) stairs.
When I first contacted zbtours I had stated that we live near the sea and are not interested to go to the beach and that we only would like to see the coral reef and the mangroves. One day a trip to the Emerald Sea with lunch was on our program. When I found out that we couldn't swim in the coral reef, I didn't want to go but J. told me that lunch was only included there and it already had been paid for and that the Emerald Sea was always included in the trips to that area. So we went there and swam briefly in the cold sea.The next day we visited the Three Bays. I made clear to our local guide that we wouldn’t put our swimsuits on that day. When we visited one of the bays it was windy and cold and there were higher waves. There were 1 o 2 windsurfers in the water. Nobody was swimming.Nevertheless our guide told us a few times to go swimming. I told him that we didn't want to go swimming but since he insisted at the end I told him that we would go swimming if we had to do it but it was his responsibility if we got sick and I started taking off all of my clothes. Only then he said that we didn't have to go swimming.
In Fianarantsoa I wanted to take a picture of a church but the sun was disturbing me. So J. said that we would pass again there on our way back and I could take a picture from the other side then.At the end he made the car come up further in our direction and I didn't get to take the picture of the church.
When we visited the market in Tulear I saw a fruit I’ve never seen before and asked J. what it was and how to eat it.He told me the name and told me that I have to cut it in half and then eat it with a spoon. So I bought the fruit and when I finally wanted to eat it I found out that I couldn’t cut it in half.
We booked our trip late due to the situation in the Middle East.We never used a money transfer before and J. knew that.First J. didn't want to give me the details we needed for the payment. He wanted to have the name of the organizer of the trip even though I had given him my full name in the beginning (later I only used my first name because he also only used his first name). He asked me to send him 500 Euros to confirm the booking which I did.A few days later I send him the rest of the money. I always sent him proof of the payment from my bank and the money transfer service and he confirmed that he received the money. Unfortunately there were some bank holidays those days. When we were in Nosy Be he also received a message from his bank that the money was arriving. Nevertheless he told me repeatedly to contact my bank bec
