点评：If you are making up your mind to with Old Road tours or Xinjiang itself, just go! Our family of two English-speaking adults and two children under 13 are eternally grateful to the Old Road Tours team for their patience, professionalism, and passion for sharing Xinjiang with us and meeting our needs. We were living in Doha at the time and traveled through Kazakhstan as the seasonal direct Turpan flight was not yet available. Abdul Wahab was so accomodating - we had dozens of email exchanges before settling on our two-week tour with a mix of relaxation, sight-seeing, and foodie travel! Navigating Xinjiang was made so easy with the help of their help finding the right places and communicating our needs. Our kids still talk about the trip and think fondly of everyone, especially Vicky who stayed the longest with us! This was a once in a lifetime trip to Urumqi, Turpan, Sayram Lake, and lovely Yilli. All of our guides were wonderful. From the homestay meals - watching how noodles are pulles was a real highlight in Turpan - to the outdoor restaurants we always enjoyed clean well-prepared extremely delicious authentic local foods. The places we stayed were amazing and we have Old Road to thank for that as we carefully went over options. We enjoyed a mix of Uyghur and international bed and breakfasts, glamping, and hotels. All of our needs, even the unexpected last-minute medical needs of one of our party were met. Our children needed special smoke-free accomodation. The real deal is hard to find believe me! They worked with us to make sure everyone was satisfied, from impromptu trips for ice cream and arcades to special eateries to satisfy the children and adults. The people in Xinjiang are really special. Their hospitality is reflected in this company. It was a very, very busy time to travel but and we were so happy with our investment.
