点评:Our guide Hiro Nakajima speaks excellent English, and shared many fascinating facts about Kyoto. He always replied to all our emails & WhatsApp messages promptly. He gave us step-by-step instructions, pre-arrival at the Kyoto Train stations, as he knew every train, arrival time, every platform, every entrance, even sent us photos & a simple map showing the path to take, and our meeting spot. It worked exactly as he describes, making our journey stress-free. He suggested we start earlier to reach the Bamboo forest before the crowds arrive, which made for a serene & very memorable visit, we were able to capture amazing pixs. He incorporated a brief stop, to show us a giant, blooming Japanese weeping willow tree, a hidden gem. He has a special guide license, allowing him access to reach/and park at places, that may tourist can't easily access. Hiro listen to us, and went over and above in everything he did for us, not a single detail was overlooked. We have traveled the world, and rank Hiro as the best guide we have ever hired. As a final note, in the USA, we are warned that it is not appropriate to tip in Japan, but this is not the case with guides. The best way to handle it, is on an individual basis, and politely ask them, if they will not be offended if you tip for their service.
