点评：Ok so this ended up being better than i expected all considered. We visited (family of 4) during monsoon season when it is often overcast. We booked a night and a backup night (backup nights are only $1, in case of weather). Several hours before the original date, they messaged saying the weather was not good and to move to the backup night. They sent this message early enough for us to still plan our evening around something new. The backup night was partly cloudy, but wow did they know how to roll with the punches. The dark rangers have a bunch of telescopes set up looking at amazing things (supernova, binary stars, star clusters, planets, the moon (if visible)). The best part - as clouds came in and obscured various objects, they rangers would quickly change the targets to ones that could peak through the clouds. They did this constantly, it was amazing. I was really worried about what they were going to do and they didn't skip a beat trying to make the best of every single hole in the clouds scattered across the sky. They do their best to recover any part of the experience they can. At the end, around 12:15 AM, our family was the last ones there and they NEVER made us feel weird about it - if anything, the were excited and ecouraging any/all experiences they could. it was WONDERFUL. We did eventually get to see the milky way stretch across the sky (clouds had moved on for about 30 minutes and the moon had gone completely down) and the night full of stars. my son was yelling that it was one of the best nights of his life. OH, and they have lots of containers of hot chocolate, coffee, tee/water, to help you stay warm and awake (my kids hat like 5 cups of hot chocolate). I STRONGLY recomend!
