点评:We have done stargazing tours before, but this was the first with powerful telescopes ordinary people don't own at home. It makes such a difference to see a comet or nebula up close and realize at the same time, how far away it is. My kids (age 7 and 9) also thoroughly enjoyed the presentation on exoplanets, because again, it's not something we've heard about before and the presenter delivered it in a way that was accessible and interesting. I also like that we didn't focus too much on the constellations and the stories associated with them, because that's very culture specific and up to interpretation.
It was 39 degrees, no wind but do dress warm because it's a long time to spend without moving much. I thought it was very crowded when we first arrived but about half the people left rather quickly. Finally - we were on the waitlist and got in at the last minute, so there is hope if you waitlist!
