点评：Today at Cockfields farm for the Santa breakfast was a really poor experience compared to last year. We walked in and were told by an elf, you’re upstairs. We proceeded upstairs where all the decorations and save a few undecorated trees around the edge of the area we were in the magical festive area most people would just call a warehouse.
The solitary elf upstairs was left with too many tables and couldn’t handle it so in the end it was about 40 minutes before we picked our breakfast.
When it arrived there was no sauce in the pancakes, nobody to ask and nobody explaining things it was a wander round and figure it out for yourself experience.
Santa finally appeared after an hour, he was great for 10 seconds we spent with him and then disappeared until later.
Nobody said a word but we figured out the outside area unseen from upstairs was open and ventured out to find all the shops were closed, the play areas were flooded so there was a carousel and some farm animals which were good but not the experience expected after last years great visit.
Our 3 year old was getting antsy so we left at 12 and the lady at the door said “Santa will be out soon when the VR experience finishes” so in two hours and paying £45 we got a whole 10 seconds with Santa because we didn’t pay for the VR experience on the day… absolute rip off and clearly just fussed about profit these days.
