Disappointing service
Vista Skybar & Dining的点评
点评：The setting at Vista Sky Bar is absolutely beautiful. The ambience is incredible and the views are breathtaking, particularly around sunset. Unfortunately, the service really let down what should have been a wonderful experience.
We arrived at around 7pm and waited over an hour before anyone took our food order. In the end, we had to flag down a waiter ourselves just to order. What made this particularly frustrating was seeing tables that had arrived after us being served promptly, with some guests having already finished their meals before we had even been able to place our order.
During the evening, our waiter also spilled some of our cocktail over the table and did not return to clean it up, leaving us with a sticky table and glass for the remainder of our visit.
The experience when trying to leave was equally frustrating. We asked for the bill and waited around 15 minutes with no response, while watching other guests receive their bills and leave. We then asked another member of staff and waited a further 15 minutes, again with no one coming over. It was only after asking for the bill for a third time that it was finally brought to us.
What was most disappointing was that throughout the evening, other tables appeared to be receiving attentive service while we repeatedly struggled to get anyone’s attention. We were polite and patient, but by the end of the evening we felt overlooked and frustrated.
It’s such a shame because the venue itself is stunning and has so much going for it. With service to match the location, this could have been one of the highlights of our time in Sorrento. Unfortunately, our experience left us disappointed.
