Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ的点评
点评：Speaking as a fan of Cirque du Soleil productions, JOYÀ was a fantastic experience and unlike any other resident or touring show thanks to its unique dinner-and-a-show format. It makes for an unforgettable evening by pairing a wonderfully orchestrated dining experience with a thoughtfully curated menu, all wrapped in Cirque du Soleil's signature creativity and spectacle.
From start to finish, we loved being immersed in the experience. The evening begins with pre-show cocktails in a stunning outdoor setting overlooking a lagoon and the hilltop theater, followed by dinner beneath the venue's elegant "big top" before culminating in a fantastic production. The live entertainment during dinner creates a lively, engaging atmosphere, and the cuisine is far from an afterthought. Every course was delicious, and we appreciated how the menu reflected the same creativity and storytelling that define Cirque du Soleil's productions.
The show itself was excellent. While it's true that it's shorter than many other Cirque productions, the performances, storytelling, and production value were impressive from beginning to end. Taken together with the dining experience, I actually think the length is just right—I can't imagine sitting through a much longer show after such an indulgent meal without slipping into a food coma. Our servers were attentive, personable, and highly engaging throughout the evening. We especially loved that they joined the performers onstage during the curtain call to receive their own well-deserved round of applause.
My only criticism is the transportation afterward. If you don't have transportation arranged in advance, the wait for a taxi can be lengthy, and the process feels a bit disorganized. Having more taxis available at the end of the evening would make for a smoother conclusion to an otherwise exceptional experience.
Overall, I can't recommend JOYÀ highly enough. The combination of an outstanding meal and a world-class Cirque du Soleil performance offers tremendous value and makes for a memorable night out—and a perfect excuse to venture beyond your resort while visiting the Riviera Maya.
