Located at 140 University Town Center Drive, at the University Parkway exit to I-75, at North Cattleman Drive, in Sarasota, Florida, it covers nearly 900,000 square feet of space and features over
200 retail stores and over 80 dining options. It is anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple, Dillard's and Macy's. Stores such as Target, Best Buy and Dick's Sporting Goods have been added to two shopping centers located just east and west of the main Mall. More shopping, hotels, a movie theater and housing are in the works. Among the leading shops and boutiques are PGA Superstore, Coach, Chico's, Home Depot, Pottery Barn, Kohl's, Ann Taylor, Trader Joe's, Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrell, Boss, Barnes & Noble, Ethan Allen, Foot Locker, A & Z Jewelers, CVS Pharmacy and Abercrombie & Fitch. The list of restaurants includes Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Sophie's, Kitchen Social, Yard House, Cheesecake Factory, Cafe Gabbiano, Lobster Pot, Cinnebon, Selva Grill, Grillsmith, Bonefish Grill, Cold Stone Creamery, Brio Italian Grille, Lucky Pelican, Blaze Pizza, Fresh Mozzarella Pizzeria and Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar. I must confess: I did a lot of shopping at UTC. I went to Saks Fifth Avenue to see what was on the rack in the men's clothing department. And Denise West helped me to select three sports jackets, five pair of slacks, four dress shirts and one pair of socks. Thanks, Denise.
