点评:horrible experience. We had little to no direction as to what to do beforehand and it was hard to find parking in the first place. We get there on time wonder around until we find a building named wine tasting. The man at the front desk utterly ignores us for a good 15 minutes then when he turns to walk out of the room without acknowledging us at all once he had finished with the previous costumer I had to stop him and inform him that we had paid 180$ for a wine tour and we didn't know where to go. He informs me that we are late and the tour has started without us and that he will have someone come and get us and bring us to the tour. 10 minutes later a woman comes to say we have missed half of the tour but that if we hurry we might catch some of it. I tell her that we have been wating for half an hour for someone to acknowledge us. The man had said it was completely impossible for us to join the next tour. I asked the woman and she said we would not be able to join the next tour either and our best bet was to try and catch what remained of our tour. I muttered something about giving a bad review and suddenly they were only too happy to have us join the next tour. During the tour half of that group showed up late because they weren't sure of where to go either and then another group wondered up to us to ask where the tour started and seemed to be completely lost as well. Obviously castello di ama is not interested in hospitality or customer service. Once they have your money there's nothing you can do about it because they make you book way in advance in order to be graced with their presence and then completely ignore you when you get there. clearly it happens all the time. Happened to us and two other groups in the short time we were there and no one seemed bothered enough to help any of us. worst service I've ever experienced. would not recommend. we went to another tour that was not pre-booked just walked in and they were super nice and gave us a private tour for 1/5 of the price of this one.
