点评：This was part of my group experience and had been on my list to do for a while as Icelandic horses have a special quality. As a non rider, complete beginner I was certainly drawn to them, albeit rather nervous.
The farm is family run and the horses are all well cared for and safety is taken seriously. Our group was mixed regarding experience and the riders were given the appropriate horses. At the end the experienced riders were invited to go for a gallop.
The horse I had was calm with a very placid temperament. The owners and riding assistants were encouraging and motivating, giving good clear instructions how to ride. It was actually a very comfortable horse to sit on although admittedly I did find it all "very unfamiliar". I was certainly pleased to have done this experience even though I couldn't allow myself to relax enough to fully enjoy it (horrendous previous experience, not in Iceland!). Next time! Highly recommended. And thank you to the team there for their help with a very nervous person.
The lunch was excellent too.
