RSPB Snettisham的点评
点评：Sadly not the best experience for us. This had been on my radar for over twenty years of birding but we had to come to Norfolk for another reason and so took the opportunity to visit.
Firstly, the height barrier was only just high enough to allow our campervan in (although it was open when we left a while later).
We followed two others - a grandfather and his grandaughter - who were also visiting for the first time and there was very little signage saying where to head. (On the way out we saw a very small sign pointing saying RSPB and slightly larger map - albeit some way out of the way on the other side of the path. We simply followed the first path we came to as there were birds in that direction.
As we continued the path became a walk along the sea wall - all the the time we were following a geocaching map. At no time did we have to cross any fences or pass any signs saying 'no entry' or 'private land' but an officious RSPB man came storming over to us ranting about us being in the wrong place. He could have simply asked to have a word. He accused us of trespassing but we had just followed as well worn path. Nothing more.
After he showed us the correct path, we decided not to head to the hides but to leave and head back to the car. En route, we came across three dead birds. Now, I don't know what the policy is here but at our (huge) bird reserve on the south coast, all dead birds should be reported and are removed by the rangers for post mortems. That seemed quite odd to us. We will return (although it could be a good few years) and will obviously know where to go next time but it wasn't our fault and we felt very unwelcome. If there is a known issue with this (which he admitted there was) why is nothing done to improve the signage? Or help first time visitors?

在他指给我们正确的路线后，我们决定不前往观鸟屋，而是直接离开并返回车上。途中，我们发现了三只死鸟。嗯……我不知道这里的规定是什么，但在我们南海岸那个（面积很大的）鸟类保护区里，所有死鸟都必须上报，然后由管理员带走进行尸检。这对我们来说挺奇怪的。我们以后还会再来（虽然可能要等好几年），到时候自然知道该去哪儿，但这并不是我们的错，而且我们感觉受到了冷遇。如果确实存在这方面的问题（他也承认确实有），那为什么不采取任何措施来改善指示牌呢？或者帮助那些第一次来访的游客呢？
