点评：This was a great three hours spend canoeing down the river from Hay on Wye. Firstly, the guys running the sessions are brilliant - good fun, safety orientated, but relaxed and knowledgeable. Secondly, despite the low water (which means one of you will need to get out and push 5 or 6 times if you’re doing the half day trip) the experience is just brilliant!
The scenery is great - and the wildlife really good. We saw Egrets, Herons and three different kingfishers. Quite a few fish were jumping - probably trout but perhaps a pike.
There’s a great little cafe come bar where you end the journey, at Whitney Bridge - again, the guys who pick you up out down there are really good. We had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub whilst sitting outside watching the river go by, and then we were dropped back off at Hay when we were ready. No timetable to worry about - it was sorted when we were ready.
All round brilliant experience, and very good value for the three of us.
