Time of my life in a Spitfire !
Aero Legends的点评
点评：What can I say except I am still buzzing from my flight in an actual Spitfire, named Elizabeth by the original pilot in 1944. She saw action an shot down two ME109’s.
My pilot on 21st June was Charlie Brown, a wonderful guy, ex RAF Tornado pilot and spotting a superb handle bar tash. Proper job.
He was so friendly, skilled and I had total confidence in him.
The preflight briefing in the office was very good by Emma, please forgive me if that’s wrong.
Ground staff were brilliant getting me into and strapped in, a final ‘hands on’ safety briefing and ready to go.
We flew around in close formation with a bright yellow Harvard T6, my boy on that taking photos.
After a while, we peeled off for aerobatics and Charlie let me actually fly the Spitfire left and right for a bit. That I will never forget !
I wish I could live longer so I have that memory for longer.

过了一会儿，我们脱离编队进行特技飞行，查理让我亲自驾驶喷火战斗机左右飞行了一会儿。那段经历我永远不会忘记！
我真希望自己能活得更久，这样就能把这段记忆珍藏更久。
