Nice spot but lacking info - you could easily be disappointed.

点评：Rang the day before to confirm open and got direction to site. On arrival it was impossible to find where to go to fossick from the sign in office and we only found it after chatting with someone else who was camping there and on their way out.
The creek is a lovely spot and we had fun but didn't find anything. There is no guidance (perhaps this has stopped in recent years) on how to fossick and no mining wash so its just creek fossicking, bring your own gear (and yes you can do this elsewhere also with no guidance for free) so it's paying to access someone's property. No-one on site so a mud map of where to go to find the fossicking area at the office of where to go would be very helpful. (it is over the hill, through 2 fields and you'll find it then.
Wouldn't make a special trip here and would probably just go to free fossicking areas instead, you can get a map of these from the tourist info.
