点评:My 1st time there was with a friend and the 2nd was with my parents. I couldn’t select the year we were there since it was 2015 with my friend and unsure with my parents.
We live in a different state but are familiar with Memphis and hiking in hilly conditions. My friend and I arrived too early & decided to visit this park and walk the T O Fuller Park Trail. That took us near and beside the Native American preserved areas. I don’t recall what was there in detail since it’s been several years but things were and probably still are of note.
The second time we went, my mother stayed at the ranger station (beginnings of Alzheimer’s). My father and I walked the same trail. Each of his knees have been replaced. The trail does require descending and climbing hills. Even after being forewarned, he commented he wished he had have brought and worn his knee braces. Though I knew the route, I think he shortened the hike once we reached the building next to Native American preserved areas to return using the roads and for less difficulty on his knees.
Each time, we saw other people hiking the trail.
