点评:I went on a lovely and very interesting guided hike with Dr Andrew Foxen of Go Mann Adventures back on Friday 16th February. We hiked from the car park at Glen Mooar up to the moss covered remains of St Patrick's Chapel and on to Spooyt Vane then along the disused railway to Glen Wyllin to the coast and along the beach back to Glen Mooar. Dr Andrew Foxen made this a very interesting hike as we had a good discussion about the coming of Christianity to the Isle of Man and about the Druids religion which would have preceeded it . Dr Foxon also told me about the wild plants growing along the side of the footpath and the different types of rock found on the beach and about the coastal erosion.
I highly recommend Go Mann Adventures as a great way to explore the island on foot while also learning more about its history; flora fauna and geology which highly enriches ones stay on the Isle of Man.

我强烈推荐 Go Mann Adventures,这是徒步探索岛屿的好方法,同时也可以了解更多关于它的历史。植物群、动物群和地质学极大地丰富了人们在马恩岛的停留。
