Vicar Water Country Park的点评
点评：A nice find at the eastern edges of the depressing, crime ravaged, dilapidated cess hole that is Mansfield.
Parking is a minimum £1 donation and there is a parking meter in the car park.
There is a cafe, minimal toliet facilities and visitor centre but in reality, it is just a cafe. The only things of interest to first time visitors such as us were a few information boards about the place and maps. That's it.
The walk down to the bottom lake is mainly concrete road surface with the walk around the lake muddy paths.
There is a small top lake which you can walk around and it has some stepping stones in the middle of it.
All in all a pleasant way to pass an hour or so and a nice walk.
Although there is a small car park at the bottom lake, there are no toilets or facilities down there, only at the cafe at the main car park.
It seemed a popular place to visit for people of many different ages, even on a cold February tuesday afternoon so it isn't isolated.
