点评：Visiting the Mr. Rogers Institute at Saint Vincent College was like stepping back into my childhood. What a wonderful experience!
Seeing so many authentic pieces from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood—his iconic sweaters and sneakers, the clock, the puppets, and, of course, the famous trolley—brought back so many memories. I also loved reading about Fred Rogers’ television career as well as his personal life. It gave me an even greater appreciation for the kind, genuine person he was and created a meaningful connection between the childhood I remember and the adult perspective I have today.
It was also special to see photos and memorabilia from beloved neighborhood friends like Handyman Negri and Mr. McFeely, making the visit feel even more nostalgic.
We happened to visit on a day when there was a special event, and Living Treasures Animal Park was there with several animals. That was an unexpected bonus! While all of the animals were fun to see, our favorite was definitely the adorable baby kangaroo.
And what better way to travel around Saint Vincent College—the home of the Mr. Rogers Institute—than by trolley? It was the perfect finishing touch to a memorable visit.
Whether you grew up watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood or are introducing it to a new generation, this is a place that’s well worth visiting. It beautifully celebrates the legacy of a man who taught kindness, compassion, and being a good neighbor.
