点评：I am not sold on the architecture and building. I find it awkward, particularly the escalators and narratives that always cause bottle necks.
However I am there for the art. The Fondation delivers on monumental and exceptionally curated shows.
The current Gerhard Richter is overwhelming. More than 400 works encompassing the entire building is almost incomprehensible. I noticed at the halfway point visitors in the galleries had plummeted. The scope of Richter's art is remarkable as this show honors him as perhaps our greatest living artist. From landscapes, portraits abstract, drawings everything is covered. I was left in awe.
The lines move promptly on time for your time slot. No need to arrive early and there is a 30 minute grace period. There is no inside line. The washrooms are clean and available. The gift shop lovely. Unfortunately, the cafe always seems to be full, which is unfortunate given the museum's remote location.
This museum is no more expensive than any other and it offers first class exhibitions.
