The entire complex is a visual and cultural masterpiece. The intricate mosaics lining the corridors are absolutely stunning to explore, and the golden iconostasis inside the church is easily one of the most beautiful and breathtaking pieces of religious art I have ever laid eyes on.
Make sure you don't skip the Byzantine Culture Museum inside the complex. The entry fee is very modest, and it is worth every single cent to see the remarkably preserved relics, manuscripts, and sacred art.
A quick tip for travelers: The drive up here is quite long, winding, and rocky—it definitely requires some careful driving! However, the destination is so profound and beautiful that I would repeat the journey again in a heartbeat. An unforgettable Cyprus experience.
