Icefield Discovery的点评
点评：10 stars should be given. It’s definitely worth to spend more than the other 2 tours which were closer to town but no landing on icefield . I felt like 007 upon landing by the ski-plane on the icefield !!!!😎 This tour allowed 20-30 min walking on the icefield which made the difference (and you felt so much closer to Mt. Logan while chatting in front of it.)
Pilot Sam was very informative and friendly. We went in August at 4pm so there was no need to wear all the layers yet when we boarded the plane. Extra layers (and hat/gloves if needed can be stored at the back of the plane until landed). Knee high no-skid boots were provided on top of our own shoes (because the snow could be deep when we landed). And perhaps also to protect the icefield from outside pollution?
The most magnificent for me was to see the sparkling blue “tear drops” of the nature from an aerial view.
If physically I can’t hike that far up, this money is definitely worth this flight of a life time (Actually didn’t see any hikers at all so must be well above them. Also it was so memorable that it made my other flights two weeks ago (seaplane to Tofino) just a transportation flight, in which the 2-way flights in total were more expensive than this icefield adventure !!!!
A totally different experience than our other walking on glaciers tours in other places/countries!
Another option is a three nights camping adventure which must be even more fun!
Tips: Seats can be rotated…I sat on the third row which was very tight and the views were somehow blocked by the wing. On the return trip, I sat on the second row and enjoyed much more space and a better view to take photos (without the wings).
The last row, although with less space, did offer unblocked views through a smaller window (no wings)…and both side of the views of nobody sit next to you! One of us took the co-pilot seat…. Needless to say how wonderful it was!
Tips 2: I took a Gravol pill just in case and was able to enjoy the whole trip!

对我来说，最震撼的体验就是从空中俯瞰大自然所创造的那些闪闪发光的蓝色“泪滴”——也就是冰晶。如果以我的体能根本无法徒步走到那么高的地方，那么这笔钱绝对值得用来体验这样一生一次的飞行之旅。（实际上沿途根本没看到任何徒步者，可见高度肯定远超他们所能到达的范围。这次经历实在令人难忘，以至于两周前我乘坐水上飞机前往托菲诺的行程也变得仅仅像一次普通的交通出行而已——而那次往返机票的总价甚至比这次冰原探险还要贵！！）
这绝对是一次与我们在其他地区/国家进行的冰川徒步之旅截然不同的体验！另一个选择就是为期三晚的露营之旅，那肯定会更加有趣！
提示：座椅可以旋转……我坐在第三排，那里空间非常狭窄，而且视线还被机翼挡住了。返程时我坐在第二排，那里空间宽敞得多，视野也更好，能拍到清晰的照片（没有机翼的干扰）。
最后一排虽然空间稍小一些，但可以通过较小的窗户获得毫无遮挡的视野（没有机翼遮挡）……而且两边都没有人坐着，可以尽情享受私人空间！我们当中有人坐上了副驾驶座……不用说，那种体验真是棒极了！
小贴士2：我以防万一吃了一片晕车药，结果整个旅程都乐在其中呢！
