A strange way to treat members.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club的点评
点评：What a shame, I was a member for the 24/25 season but that season was marred by ridiculous events, I am not referring to the cricket, with some of the staffs attitude towards their members I cancelled my membership. The venue is wonderful for the view of Worcester Cathedral during the summer, the change of light on the stone during the course of the day is magical and I understand the issues of flooding during the winter but the general attitude of staff was less than ideal. On one occasion I was refused entry to the Graham Hick Stand because ‘ the ladies teams are using it as a changing room’ this despite my having paid for membership of the specific stand ! I was told to sit anywhere else in the ground, well other than the Elite Members area. I asked why I couldn’t sit in the stand I’d paid for? It was pointed out to me that it would not be appropriate for men to be sitting in a stand, facing the pitch, in front of where “ladies were changing” but I could apparently go to the other areas and use binoculars to look into the glass fronted stand. The logic of this escaped me entirely. It is a shame, I like the ground, I wanted to support the county and the ground but it was one issue after another every time I attended a match so I’ve given up and I doubt if I will return, even as a visitor.
