Overall, a lovely stay.
The Astbury Golf & Lodge Resort的点评
点评：We stayed here in November with family and really enjoyed our stay.
The lodge (no.15) was decorated beautifully and was very clean but the best part was the view when we woke up the next morning, with the mist rising above the trees! This lodge is definitely in a great location and has a huge outdoor decking area.
Craig was really friendly and helpful upon check-in and the staff we met in the restaurant were always smiling and polite.
The afternoon tea was a lovely selection of treats and the cocktails were very nice.
A couple of things we did struggle with were the too-small towels in the bathroom (why does nowhere supply bath sheets?!) and the mattress in the main bedroom, which was very sunken on one side - to the point my husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms for the week. Thankfully we'd booked a 3 bed lodge so were able to do this as we'd have really struggled otherwise!
I did mention this upon check-out so hopefully the mattress has been replaced now.
The kitchen had a dishwasher and plenty of nice quality glassware and crockery. The knives were actually sharp too and there is a welcome pack of cloth, dishwasher tabs etc for a few days, as well as handwash and toilet paper.
The twin room needs some storage for clothes as there are no drawers, just a small hanging rail so our children lived out of their suitcases.
We asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner as the one in the lodge was broken and someone arrived a short while later with a brand new one to use, which was a nice touch.
This site is very peaceful and well maintained and the main house is really pretty, with great views across the golf course.
We would love to come back here one day.

不过，有两点让我们不太满意：一是浴室里的毛巾太小（为什么这里都不提供浴巾？！），二是主卧的床垫一侧严重下陷——以至于我和丈夫不得不分房睡一周。幸好我们预订的是三卧室小木屋，否则真的会很不舒服！
退房时我提到了这个问题，希望他们现在已经更换了床垫。
厨房里有洗碗机，还有很多优质的玻璃器皿和餐具。刀具也很锋利，而且还贴心地准备了几天的洗碗布、洗碗块等用品，以及洗手液和卫生纸。
双人房的储物空间略显不足，没有抽屉，只有一个小小的挂衣杆，所以孩子们只能把衣服放在行李箱里。
我们借了一台吸尘器，因为小屋里的坏了，没过多久就有人送来了一台全新的，非常贴心。
这里环境清幽，维护得很好，主屋也很漂亮，可以饱览高尔夫球场的壮丽景色。
我们非常希望有一天能再次回到这里。
