点评:Visiting Greenwich, we Ubered to see Greenwich Point Park, not realizing we had to have a pass. The woman at the gate informed us it was $10 per person if we went in on foot, so we thanked the driver and got out. The woman rejected our cash and said we had to go online. Then she said “you should have come better prepared.” I replied that we were visiting from out of two and been told the park was beautiful to which she retorted, “It’s not a park, it’s a private beach!” (It is, in fact, also a park.) The app was hard to navigate, so I walked back to her and asked for help. It took her a minute or two to figure it out, during which she said again that we should have done this before arriving so she wouldn’t have to “stand out in the cold figuring it out.” There were two in our party, however, so I had to go back and struggle with the app to find the purchase option. She came back out and snarled that we should “just go in.” I cannot remember a less hospitable encounter.
