Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre的点评
点评：It was a wet and miserable Saturday afternoon in Nottingham UK. My partner had booked a heritage train journey for my birthday treat.
However, this was not just a train journey, it was a 'Candle lit Supper'. Anyone not familiar with the BBC sitcom of the nineteen ninetees, 'Keeping up Appearances' starring the fastidious and insufferable Hyacinth Bucket pronounced Boo - Kay, her hen pecked husband Richard, Onslow the brother in law slob, and Rose the man hungry sister, all played brilliantly by the cast on board the train. Once the train left Ruddington Fields station we were entertained and served a lovely fish and chip meal and drinks by the four cast. The dining car was busy but we were all made to feel like special guests. We enjoyed the afternoon so much we are looking forward to taking afternoon tea at one of their other venues for another heritage train journey. Finally, a big thank you to the cast and crew who made a dull and wet afternoon enjoyable and memorable and to Great Central Railway (Nottingham) for the nostalgic trip back in time.
