Sharpley Golf Club的点评
点评：We decided to visit as we had been told it was a nice place to visit not just for golf, we aren’t golfers, but for a cuppa and a scone.
Although the club is set in beautiful surroundings with views across countryside to the coast and a very nice lounge area with plenty of seating, the service we received was very poor.
My partner went to order tea for me and a coffee for himself along with a couple of scones. He was told by a member of staff that she hadn’t bothered making scones that day?? He was then told to use the machine to get our tea and coffee, another?? We did this and as I was getting my tea I was grumbling to my partner when a member of staff came out of the back and asked if there was a problem. I said there was as we had come in for refreshments and didn’t except to have to get them ourselves in paper cups, she shrugged and walked away. While we were sitting we saw others being served refreshments on a tray with proper crockery by staff members. We had our undrinkable tea and coffee in paper cups. We left them unfinished and left the lounge.
We certainly won’t be back again. I did sent them feedback on their facebook page, but haven’t had the courtesy of a reply.
