Terrible attitude towards a woman

点评：Spent £117 on 3 senior citizen and 1 adult tickets. In our company was a lady over 80 and a lady over 70. The only available space to sit on the deck was reserved for bikes. When I enquired as to why we couldn't sit there I was met with a very overbearing big man who proceeded to tell me it was only for bike storage with no people allowed.
I felt threatened by his behaviour and I'm sure if I was a man he would not be speaking in such a bullish manner. This was all conducted in front of everyone on board.
Surely asking a valid question should not result in such poor behaviour?
To top it off, on the return journey other people were aloud to sit next to the bikes - just not us apparently. When I asked at the end why others could sit there but not us I was again met with a belligerent and hostile response.
I asked for his name and the complaints procedure as our day had been somewhat spoiled by his behaviour and I was informed by him that he was the MD and just send it to him.
What a waste of time and money, we had traveled 2.5 hours to specifically go on the steamship. I have travelled on that boat multiple times in the past and never had such a traumatic time as this.
