One Average visit and one great visit

点评：We visited this area on two different days. On the first, we walked out on the concrete walk area and sat on the rocks. Wasn’t incredibly impressed that time, but with all the kids with us it was fun. The second trip, we had weathered a pretty bad storm that morning while we were in the area and afterwards when the sun was shining and the roads were cleared some, we were trying to find something to do as the power was out everywhere. This was the only thing open that we could find on this side of the national park. We were the only ones on the beach with the sunshining. There were lots of little treasures washed up after the storms. One of my sons tried to gather the things (that looked like they had come from the house next door) close to the steps to make it easier for the owners to retrieve and my other son was pulling canoes from the water up onto the beach and various debris off the rocks and into a pile. My daughter and I gathered pieces of sea glass and admired the driftwood. There are restrooms here and a foot wash station outside. Of all of the places at the national park, I wouldn’t recommend this when you have lots of choices, but it was really a lovely afternoon despite it not being the most appealing spot.
翻译：我们在两天里分别游览了这个地方。第一天，我们沿着水泥步行道走去，然后坐在岩石上。虽然那次并没有留下特别深刻的印象，但因为有很多孩子相伴，玩起来倒也挺有趣的。第二次去的时候，那天早上我们在这一带时遭遇了一场相当猛烈的暴风雨。雨停后，太阳出来了，道路也稍微疏通了一些，但由于到处都停电了，我们便试着找点事情做。这是我们在国家公园这一侧能找到的唯一营业的场所。阳光明媚时，海滩上只有我们几个人。风暴过后，有很多小玩意儿被冲到了岸边。我的一个儿子试图把那些看起来像是从隔壁房子里漂出来的东西收集起来，堆在台阶附近，好方便主人来取回；另一个儿子则忙着把独木舟从水里拉到沙滩上，还把岩石上的各种杂物也清理出来堆成一堆。我和女儿一起捡拾海玻璃碎片，还欣赏了漂流木。这里有卫生间，外面还有一个洗脚处。在国家公园里的众多景点中，如果有很多选择的话，我并不推荐这里；不过尽管它不是最吸引人的地方，我们今天下午的时光依然十分愉快。
