Georgi, the King of the Caucasus

点评：We had the absolute pleasure of having Georgi from Makho Tours take us on a two-day trip from Tbilisi up to Kazbegi and back, and it was genuinely one of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had.
We had a pretty niche request: we needed a van to drive us to Kazbegi, take us on random adventures along the way, drop us off for a waterfall hike and wait for us, pick us up again the next morning, and then take us to hike up to Gergeti Trinity Church. Georgi made the whole thing incredibly easy. His English was amazing, communication was always super clear, and we always knew exactly what the plan was.
On top of that, Georgi knew all the super niche, delicious food spots that we never would have found otherwise. He took us to this tiny local khinkali restaurant up in the mountains that is on absolutely no tourist’s radar, only locals, and it was genuinely one of the greatest meals of my life.
I ended up proposing to my girlfriend at the church. I told Georgi about the plan that morning, and he was so sweet about it. He picked us a bouquet of wildflowers and played music after I proposed. It was such a kind, personal touch, and it made the moment even more special.
Georgi is the absolute man. And not just with us. He was constantly cracking up random tourists we passed, telling jokes, declaring himself the King of the Caucasus, and just making everyone around him smile. He is genuinely passionate about making visitors to Georgia happy and getting people excited about the culture, food, people, and beautiful nature of the country.
This was an absolutely one-of-a-kind tour experience. Georgi went way above and beyond for us. He is an incredible guide, a genuinely great guy, and just the kind of person you feel lucky to meet while traveling. It was a privilege to spend the last 48 hours with him. He has my absolute highest recommendation.

乔治真是个无可挑剔的好男人。而且不只是在对我们如此。每当我们路过其他游客身边时，他总会逗得他们哈哈大笑，讲笑话，还自称“高加索之王”，总是能让周围的人都露出笑容。他真心热衷于让每一位到访格鲁吉亚的游客都能开心满意，也努力让人们对这个国家的文化、美食、人民以及美丽的自然风光充满向往。
这绝对是一次独一无二的旅行体验。乔治为我们付出了远超预期的努力。他是一位出色的导游，也是个真正的好人；正是那种在旅途中遇到会让你觉得很幸运的人。能和他共度最后的48小时真是莫大的荣幸。我毫不犹豫地全力推荐他。
