点评：I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want other people to know how wonderful Adelaar is and make it harder for us to come back 😂
Words cannot begin to describe what an incredible week we had on Adelaar, and especially how wonderful the crew were.
There were just six guests — three couples from different parts of the world — and around 12 crew, so the level of care was extraordinary. Dylan, our cruise director; Afry, our dive guide; Ann, our wonderful “personal assistant”; Hiro; and everyone else — thank you for making these seven days so unbelievably special. It was magical, extraordinary, completely unforgettable — and somehow even better than we could ever have imagined.
Of course, the diving was world-class, but what made Adelaar so special was how well looked after we were at every moment. Detailed dive briefings meant we always knew what to expect and how to prepare. Our clothes magically appeared dry, our dive kit was always ready, and everything ran seamlessly.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
It was the little things that really stood out. On a hike, the crew carried our water and gave us cold drinks and chilled towels at the top. After every dive, we were welcomed with a hot drink. When the sun got too strong, shades magically appeared. Constant hydration! 😂 The crew operate like an incredibly well-oiled machine, but it never feels forced or overbearing. They anticipate what you need while still giving you all the space in the world to relax.
And then the diving! We did 18 dives and every one felt different. The team carefully planned each around the conditions, currents and tides rather than simply following a fixed itinerary. You dive in small groups of no more than four per guide, and having Afry guiding us throughout the week made it feel incredibly personal.
We were unbelievably lucky to encounter mantas on three separate occasions — including once while snorkelling! — along with an astonishing amount of other marine life. But even without the big animals, the coral and sheer abundance of underwater life in Komodo are so spectacular that the diving would still have been extraordinary.
I was a little intimidated by some of Komodo's famous currents (and dives like Shotgun!), but Dylan was so calm, kind and reassuring, and happy to adjust entries and dive plans so everyone felt completely comfortable without ever feeling like you were missing out. It made a huge difference to my confidence and enjoyment.
The food was excellent. We're both vegetarian and this never once felt like an afterthought. The chefs were incredibly accommodating and happy to adjust dishes and portions, and we ate extremely well all week.
Adelaar itself is beautiful. The cabins are lovely, the beds ridiculously comfortable, and after a full day of diving you sleep like a baby. She's also incredibly stable. I'd worried about seasickness but had no need to. The captain and crew were thoughtful about when the boat moved and chose sheltered moorings and timings wherever possible to minimise disruption to sleep.
I wasn't sure what the social side of a week-long liveaboard would be like, but it became one of the things we loved. All six guests ate together and there was a lovely sense of camaraderie without it ever feeling forced. There was still plenty of space and downtime to read, relax on deck or enjoy being away as a couple. Adelaar somehow feels both wonderfully sociable and completely relaxing.
Seven days went far too quickly. We felt completely safe, cared for and spoiled from the moment we stepped aboard, while still feeling like we were having a proper adventure.
I truly cannot thank the entire Adelaar team enough. This is an experience we'll be talking about for the rest of our lives — or at least until we come back for the next one!
If you're considering Adelaar: book it. Just please don't take our spots on the next trip. 😂

还有潜水体验！我们一共进行了18次潜水，每一次的感受都截然不同。团队根据当时的海况、洋流和潮汐情况精心规划了每一次潜水行程，而并非机械地遵循固定路线。每次潜水时，每个向导只带领不超过四名潜水者，整个星期都有Afry亲自指导我们，这种服务让人感觉格外贴心且个性化。我们极其幸运，先后三次邂逅了蝠鲼——其中一次还是在浮潜时！——同时还看到了数量惊人的其他海洋生物。不过，即便没有这些大型动物，科莫多岛的珊瑚以及丰富多样的水下生物也足以让这里的潜水体验堪称非凡。
科莫多岛上一些著名的洋流（比如“Shotgun”潜水点所在的洋流）曾让我有些胆怯，但迪伦表现得极为镇定、友善且让人安心。我很乐意调整行程安排和潜水计划，这样每个人都能感到完全自在，同时又不会觉得错过了什么。这对增强我的自信以及提升游玩体验起到了巨大作用。

Adelaar本身也美不胜收。小木屋很迷人，床铺更是舒服得不得了。在经历一整天的潜水之后，我睡得香甜无比。这艘船的稳定性也超棒。我原本还担心会晕船，但完全多虑了。船长和船员们很体贴，他们会谨慎选择船只启航的时机，并尽可能选择避风安全的停泊点，以尽量减少对我们睡眠的干扰。
我原本不确定为期一周的船宿体验在社交方面会是什么样子，结果这反倒成了我们最喜欢的环节之一。六位客人都一起用餐，氛围十分融洽，那种友谊的感觉自然而生，毫无刻意造作之嫌。船上仍有充裕的空间和闲暇时间供人阅读、在甲板上放松，或是与伴侣享受二人世界。Adelaar号给人的感觉就是：既适合社交互动，又能让人彻底放松身心。
七天的时间转瞬即逝。从踏上船的那一刻起，我们就感受到了十足的安全感与贴心照料，仿佛被悉心呵护着；与此同时，我们也切实体验到了一场真正的冒险之旅。我真的不知该如何感谢整个Adelaar团队。这段经历我们将终生难忘——至少在下次出行之前都会一直铭记在心！
