点评：I pride myself on writing mostly positive reviews as negative reviews are most of the time highly exaggerated and dramatic. However, I will be the dramatic one today, because this beach club has got to be the worst I have ever experienced in the south of France. My French grandmother had called months ahead to book two beds for my boyfriend and I. Upon my arrival, there was some confusion with this. The workers at the beach club could not fathom that an American would have a French grandma who booked chairs months in advance via phone. They insisted that there was no way I “could possibly be in the front row” and proceeded to try to make me pay again for two available seats in the back row. To add to the chaos, as I was attempting to speak to them in French (however imperfectly, God forbid) the big man at the front proceeded to mock my American accent and my attempts to speak French.
After literally speaking on the phone with my grandma (this was the only way that I could prove my case), they finally admitted fault and escorted me to my front row beds.
Funny enough, I sat right next to “big man’s” family. Wonderfully kind people. What a dichotomy!

有趣的是，我就坐在那个“大个子”的家人旁边。他们都是非常友善的人。真是鲜明的对比啊！
