Borjomi Central Park的点评
点评：The Borjomi zipline is not inside the lower part of Central Park. It is at the top, on the plateau area, right next to the upper cable car station. The easiest and nicest way to get there is to take the cable car from near the entrance of Borjomi Central Park.
When you arrive at the top cable car station, turn right onto the road. You’ll see a big zipline sign, and the entrance is just down a few steps.
The zipline itself goes down from the plateau area toward the park. It is very fast and over quickly, so don’t waste the ride trying to take photos or videos. Be present and enjoy it. If possible, ask them to use the little red parachute/brake to make the ride slower, otherwise it feels like it’s finished in two seconds.
After the zipline, there is a short downhill walk, and then you end up inside Borjomi Central Park. From there, you can explore the park, walk along the river, or continue hiking deeper into the park toward the sulfur baths.
A nice full-day plan would be:
Take the cable car up, do the zipline down, then walk through the park and continue all the way to the sulfur baths. Bring a swimsuit, towel, water, snacks, and proper walking shoes. The walk to the baths is longer than you might expect, but very beautiful, with forest, river, and mountain scenery.
Costs when I went:
- Cable car: 15 GEL
- Zipline: 80 GEL
- Central Park entrance: 5 GEL, though if you enter via the zipline route you may already end up inside the park
- Sulfur baths: extra fee, so check the current price when you arrive
For South Africans, this is not a cheap activity, it works out to over R1,000 if you do cable car + zipline + park/baths costs. But if you plan it properly, don’t rush, and don’t waste the zipline trying to film everything, it can be a really beautiful experience.
