点评:We did the walking with wolves experience at Predator Park. It was brilliant. After booking we got detailed instructions to find the place and when we arrived we got a warm welcome from Daniel and Dee. They were both knowledgeable and shared that knowledge and their clear love for the wolf pack generously and clearly. The wolves were amazing. Walking with them around the edge of the field was a fun way to learn more about them and for everyone to get a sense of each other. Spending a bit of time with them off leash in their enclosure after the walk allows for some more interaction and for some lovely photos. Spending time with such a well adjusted and cared for wolf pack is good for the soul and I can't recommend it highly enough.
A few points to note - book in advance. This is not something you can just turn up to, you need a booking. Be on time as per the instructions. If you are not you will not be able to join and you won't get a refund. It's not cheap but it is really good value for money and I would go again in a heartbeat. Wear clothes you are not precious about. It has been dry for so long that there were no issues with mucky paw prints for us - we got dust but I can imagine that you will get a bit dirty if the ground is less dry. You will almost certainly be with other people but the group was small so everyone got plenty of time with the wolves (there were 7 of us on the day).
If you are scared of dogs and worried about how you will feel about wolves - don't be. I am nervous around dogs but these wolves have a completely different energy and I felt nothing but calm. They are curious but they are kind and confident and not in any way aggressive. Daniel and Dee were good at accommodating for different levels of confidence with the wolves and desire to interact with them as our group was a mixed bag..
It is also clear that the wolves always come first - we had to rebook because our original date fell in the heatwave and Dee emailed us to cancel. The rebooking process was easy and it was great to see the welfare of the wolves being prioritised over profit.
