点评：Dangerous pony factory: we had one good ride with my child (a very young v but experienced rider) in the morning when it wasn’t busy and the ponies were fresh. Second day was late afternoon, the ‘horsey’ and rather strident woman in charge clocked us. We were given a clearly annoyed, recalcitrant pony who had had enough for the day, more red flags when I was given a whip to ‘handle’ the pony with. The pony bucked from side to side, refused to move, tried to bite, pulled and scared my child who ended the ride bravely but crying and once I could safely remove us from the pony and hand it over, was in floods of tears. The woman refused to come over and robbed us off on a a child barely in her teens of at all to take the pony. I explained and she just shrugged whilst boss woman stayed behind the barricades taking the next person’s money. This was profiteering off animals who were uncooperative and potentially dangerous. By late afternoon it was unsafe (inexperienced parents lead ponies out by main roads unsupervised for half an hour) and the woman in charge clearly did not give a fig about the humans, probably not the animals, and definitely not my very upset and scared child. This is less a business than a money factory and I doubt any responsibility would be taken if an accident occurred. The stables as a whole seem very nice but the ‘balances á main’ are a risky afterthought. Great if you’re there on a good day, potentially awful if not. Steer clear.
