点评：we were looking forward to Alderfest and visited there yesterday 03.07.2026. we had a Friday VIP ticket. entry was fine we did have to ask it wasn't well signposted where the VIP section was. was greeted in the marquee which was well presented with our complimentary drink and found a table. the marquee remained less than half full. the outside are with picnic tables was well placed for the stage.
the bar was extortionate £9 for a beer, very pricey drinks. then came the food which was described a set meal on the website so we were looking forward to this. we took photos of two large serving bowls not dissimilar to dog bowls and what was in them i wouldnt have served my dog. pure slop supposed to be pulled pork absolutely vile, with a bowl of dried stuffing !!! with white vile buns. and this was our set meal. we didnt even bother queuing for this mess. we went to an outside vendor for food. there was buns filled with slop left on tables not even eaten on the other tables. Im sorry but for £95 VIP ticket you should have prepared something a lot better than this. no vegetarian option offered. this standard was shocking. way outpriced for what was offered. the whole evening was very pricey, very disappointing. we like to support local events but this unfortunately will be our first and only visit.
