点评：My girlfriend and I joined a 4-morning intensive beginner surf course at this school, and overall it was a mixed experience.
On two of the four days, we had Roberto as our instructor, and those sessions were honestly amazing. Thanks to him, we improved more than we expected in such a short time. He paid close attention to every movement we made, and we always felt safe in the water with him. He gave us very solid theoretical foundations, but what really made the difference was his presence in the water — he constantly observed us and gave personalized feedback after every wave. You could really feel his passion for surfing and for teaching. Those days were the highlight of our course.
Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the other two days with different instructors. On those days, we felt much more on our own, without enough guidance or support, even though the waves were quite big (around 3 meters). As beginners, that made the experience stressful rather than educational, and we didn’t feel adequately prepared or followed in the water.
In summary, Roberto represents exactly what a surf instructor should be, and we are very grateful for what we learned from him. We just wish the level of attention, safety, and teaching quality had been consistent throughout the whole course.
