点评：I adore this charming location! Slightly more than 130 kilometers northeast of Russia's capital, the lake is easily accessible by car, which makes it a popular weekend getaway for Moscow residents. I visited there in early September the last time and took my grandchildren with me.
There, everyone can find a way to have fun. Others would go yachting, others would go kite surfing, yet others would go fishing, and still more would just lie in the sun and take a swim—and an occasional shot of vodka. The surroundings boast well-developed infrastructure, including hotels, cafés, snack bars, restaurants, nightclubs, bowling alleys, sports facilities, kids' playgrounds, and more.
Highly recommended! However, when making travel plans, bear in mind that the roads may be clogged and that the best spots may be completely booked. Therefore, structure your stay there well in advance.
The place is lovely at any time of the year.
The lake's name must be spelled Pleshcheyevo, by the way. Which roughly translates as "a splashing lake".
