点评：Second time visited, first time was last summer. Again we couldn't get parked in the small car park. It was again way too warm and uncomfortable inside as the night went on.
Nice sounding main meals with a specials board. Main meals generally £25 though which we weren't expecting, was it this expensive last summer? I couldn't recall. No drinks menus on tables which I didn't like, Waitresses buzzing about, friendly and smiling, helpful, nice. It quickly came apparent it is more of a place to go celebrate rather than just to go grab some tea if you fancied a night off from cooking, like I did.
Regretted going as soon as we'd placed the order, we waited ages, 1 hour for just 2 main meals, we were told it'd be a 40 min wait but it did take a lot longer. Before we knew it there was no scope to do anything else we had planned for the rest of that evening. One meal was nice the other was just like you'd have anywhere else.
Despite its look from outside, it just isn't a run of the mill pub, don't bob in hoping for a 'normal' priced pub meals like we did. We didn't hate it, but we won't go back. Other people seemed happy enough and all the food brought out looked nice. Just know what to expect price wise and waiting time when you go.
