The Real Deal for Trad Rock Climbing

点评：This was our first trip to Seneca Rocks for rock climbing. We were there for a guided trip featuring multipitch traditional ("trad") climbing, and some instruction.
We arrived late Friday night, but someone was there at the site to greet us and give us a basic tour of the layout and we got our tents set and were ready first thing Saturday morning. Our guide, Holly, was professional and friendly and made sure she understood our goals for the weekend before we even got started. We spent 2 days doing several climbs and getting a primer on trad climbing lead & follow.
All in all, the experience was fantastic. This is a small operation only a few minutes hike from the base of the climbing area, and while the accommodations were rustic, the people were friendly and outgoing. This isn't a resort or boutique with lots of polish: this is a highly competent group of enthusiastic and professional rock climbers. Doesn't get more real than this, and we very much felt like we were in safe hands for a spectacular trip.
