点评：We booked our tour with Asia Odyssey after reading reviews on instagram and Trip. Chloe is a very responsive and patient administrator, as we requested for customised private tour for 6, from Dunhuang to Jiayuguan to Zhangye. We booked our own hotels.
We were assigned John as the guide who brought us to visit various sights on a 10-seater mini bus. He was punctual and helpful, he knew the terrain well and fit enough to go further for those who wanted to explore more at Pingshan Lake Canyon. John was knowledgeable and could explain history and socio-political background which was beyond just surface descriptions. We covered Mingsha mountains, Mogao grottoes, Hanging great wall, Rainbow canyon, Jiayuguan fortress, pingshan lake canyon, Mati temple and Big buddha temple.
Overall we enjoyed the tour, John was efficient in managing the various venue entrances and other matters. He was also responsive whenever we checked with him on wechat.
