Lovely place but won’t return
El Plantío Golf Resort的点评
点评：Just got back from staying at the resort. It is beautiful, very quiet, very clean and friendly staff. We were surprised the meals were a set menu for dinner and not the usual buffet selection but we were lucky that there was something we liked each night, I’m not quite sure what would happen if we didn’t like what was on offer. The rooms are fabulous, spacious and very well presented.
We stayed here to play golf. Initially we were told we could have transport to the golf course ‘if’ there was a member of staff available as it’s too far to walk with your clubs and you are not allowed to collect a buggy and come back for your clubs. The course is stunning, it was quiet for this time of year and at points was like millionaires golf, there is a downside to this. We had a bag stolen out of a golf bag by the 7th green, the caddy master was very quick to suggest this happened on this hole, could it be that this is a regular occurrence? The staff on the shop were not very helpful and said if it gets handed in they would call. The caddy master arrived at our apartment an hour later with the bag but all of the cash had been taken but cards had been left inside.
This was a real shame but I would like to warn golfers to watch your clubs/buggy by this course on hole 7 and 13 as it appeared not to shock anyone.
We did not let this spoil our stay, but we wouldn’t return as this complex is not really all in one place as a golf resort , a car would be needed to get anywhere.
